To book an appointment for counseling, please call Shalom Center at 213-380-3700.

Counseling is only available on Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

For pre-purchase counseling, please bring the following documents in hard copies:

1) Copies of Driver’s license and Social Security Card

2) Most recent bank statements for 2 months

3) Most recent paystubs for 2 months (if receiving wage)

4) 2 years of income tax return

5) 2 year of W-2 statements (if receiving wage)

6) Copy of your recent credit report or $35 for credit check fee

For home modification counseling, please bring the following documents in hard copies:

1) Copies of Driver’s license and Social Security Card

2) Most recent bank statements for 3 months

3) Most recent paystubs for 3 months (if receiving wage/ self-employed – P&L statement)

4) 2 years of income tax return

5) 1 month mortgage statement

6) Copy of your recent credit report or $35 for credit check fee

7) Property Tax Bill, Property Insurance Bill, Utility Bill

8) Hardship letter
