We are now offering internship volunteer program in the fields of housing services, office assistance, public relation, public administration, and sociology. We are extremely proud of the work we do and invite you to join us. With your help, we can serve our community and benefit those in need of assistance.
Volunteers are eligible to receive The President’s Volunteer Service Award. Shalom Center is a certifying organization that tracks the hours of its volunteers.
Children (14 and younger)
Bronze: 50 to 74 hours
Silver: 75 to 99 hours
Gold: 100 hours or more
Lifetime: 4,000 hours or more
Young Adults (15 to 25)
Bronze: 100 to 174 hours
Silver: 175 to 249 hours
Gold: 250 hours or more
Adults (25 and older)
Bronze: 100 to 249 hours
Silver: 250 to 499 hours
Gold: 500 hours or more
Families and Groups (two or more people, each member must have served 25 hours or more)
Bronze: 200 to 499 hours
Silver: 500 to 999 hours
Gold: 1000 hours or more
